It took one of Angelica Monroy’s photographs to sell me on the powerful musical presence of The Night Times.

They have recently release their first music video and have several more dates left of their Fall tour. They’re a musical force to be reckon with — check them out live at a city near you! The Covina six-piece will reel you in with their true Garage Rock n Roll tunes.

For those who may not know much about The Night Times, talk about how you and the band came together?

TNT: Chris formed the band in 2013 with two of his friends known as The B-Sides which later became The Night Times. With a constantly changing line up, the band has finally settled and became what it is today. Chris on vocals and bass, Squints on guitar, Mick on guitar, Ben on organ, Bobby on tambourine, and Tanya on drums.

How would you describe the dynamics within the band? What would you say are some pros and cons with working with other creative minds? How are you able to bring everyone to be on the same page?

TNT: As adults, it’s definitely difficult to meet individuals who can be dedicated to music and rehearsals. With that being said, we’re all down to earth musicians who come together, work hard, and support each other. We’re a band with quite a few members and at times it becomes difficult to agree on certain things, but at the end of the day, we all compromise and make it work.

The Night Times are keeping busy, from gigs, band practice, and now the release of your music video! Is this the first vid the bands puts out?

TNT: This is our first music video. YAY!

Who produced the video? How extensive was the editing process and what was your overall experience with creating a music video?

TNT: Actually, our organ player, Ben, is great at editing film and put this rad video together. It’s a compilation of special moments, shows we’ve had, and rad movie clips.

What other upcoming projects should we expect from The Night Times?

TNT: We have a few surprises coming up. One that we’re looking forward to is the release of our limited edition picture sleeve. There will only be 50 made and we’re launching them the first week of November.

Do you have any words of wisdom to any up and coming musicians?

TNT: Honestly, team work is the way to go. The rest will follow.

Where can we check The Night Times’ music out?

TNT: As of now, you can find us on YouTube and follow our channel. Our single will be available on Spotify and iTunes next month! You can also pick up a copy of our 45 directly from us at one of our shows!

Last words?

TNT: We just like to thank everyone who’s supported us and helped us get to where we are today. We appreciate it so much from the bottom of our hearts!

Socials?

TNT: Yes of course! We’re on Instagram @the.night.times and on Facebook @thenighttimes626.
